FFSL AGM rescheduled

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for electing the new office bearers of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) has been rescheduled for June 1 at the BMICH commencing at 8.30 a.m.

The AGM was earlier scheduled for May 31 but due to travel restrictions between Districts, the Sports Ministry has put off the elections by a day.

Dr. Vernon Manil Fernando, son of former FFSL President Manilal Fernando and Jaswar Umar the incumbent General Secretary are in the fray for the Presidency and heading their groups. (AN)
