Duvindu to play for Orrell CC in Liverpool

Promising slow left-arm orthodox bowler Duvindu Tillakaratne is set to play for Orrell Cricket Club in Liverpool, England for the current season.

The-24-year-old was the highest wicket-taker for the BRC with 61 scalps during the concluded Major League Cricket Tournament and was also selected as the Best Bowler of the Tournament. Duvindu has already played in 29 First-Class matches with 139 wickets with best figures of eight for 147 in the last Premier League Tournament.

Duvindu is already in England and has got approval from Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) as he is a member of the Sri Lanka’ ‘A’ Team. (D.R)
