Sri Sumangala, St. John’s cruise to U-19 final

Leg-spinner Vidusha Peiris captured five for 17 as Sri Sumangala MV, Panadura recorded a three-wicket victory over Holy Cross College, Kalutara in their Under-19 Division Two Tier ‘A’ Cricket Tournament semi-final match played at Thurstan Grounds yesterday.

Meanwhile, Paceman Bimsara Ranawaka had fine figures of four for 22 as St. John’s College, Panadura defeated Lyceum, Wattala by four wickets in their Division Two Tier ‘A’ Tournament semi-final played at the De Zoysa Stadium in Moratuwa yesterday.

Holy Cross: 122 in 50 overs (Patheesha Shamal 56, Vidusha Peiris 5/17)

Lyceum, Wattala: 100 in 45 overs (Pasindu Perera 56, Bimsara Ranawaka 4/22, Sumudu Udara 3/15)

St. John’s: 103/6 in 21.4 overs (Dinushka Madushan 30).
