Sri Sumangala bags U-19 Division Two Title

Leg-spinner Vishwa Lahiru Kumara had fine figures of five for 12 as Sri Sumangala MV Panadura recorded a six-wicket win over St. John’s College, Panadura in the Under-19 Division Two Tier ‘A’ Cricket Tournament final played at the BRC Grounds, yesterday.

The game was reduced to a 36-over per side contest due to wet ground conditions and St. John’s batting first were bowled out for 68 in 33.4 overs.

In reply, Sri Sumangala reached their target in 19.3 overs with Mihiranga Fernando scoring an unbeaten 36.
