Oshadi Seneviratne is a Grade 13 Student of Mahamaya Girls College,Kandy who is an outstanding athlete. She is more recognized as a Relay Runner and she is running the Anchor lap of the relay team in school as well as at Provincial Level. She brought many victories to the school with her other team members of the relay team. Oshadi was a member of the School Athletic team since 2010 and the Overall Runner-up in the Under 13 age group at the School Sports Meet in 2014. Again she secured the Under 14 overall Runner-up title in 2015 and she became the Overall Champion in 2016 in the Under 15 level Oshadi was the Under 20 Overall Champion in 2020.
She won the 100 metres event at the Inter House Sports Meet for four consecutive years from Under 14 to Under 20 age groups. She secured the first place in 200 metres. race In the Under 14 and Under 16 levels and she was placed srcond in 400 metres. race in the Under 19 age category. She participated in the School Relay team and at the beginning she was in the School 4 x 100 relay team which won the third place at the District Meet in 2015. In the year 2016 she ran the Anchor lap of the Relay team which was placed second in Medley Relay at the District Meet in 2017. In 2019 Mahamaya Relay team won the first place at the 4 x 100 relay event at the District Meet and at the Zonal Meet her relay team won the third place at the 4 x 100 M. 4 x 200 M. and 4 x 400 M. Relay events in 2018 and she got many awards at the School Colours award ceremony. In 2019 she was in the winning school 4 x 100 relay team and the team set a new meet record of 52.9 seconds.
Oshadi is the Athletic Captain and the Games Captain of the School in the year 2020 and she won the Best Performers award at the All Island Athletic Championship.
