Kotmale Speed Hill Climb on May 1 and 2

The management team of Senkadagala Motor Sports Club, which is a newly formed club with experienced riders and drivers with some motor sports lovers in the hill capital in association with the Sri Lanka Motor Cycle Club has decided to conduct the most looked forward Kotmale Speed Hill Climb on 1st and 2nd of May. They have planned to bring back the event and it is going to be the first speed show of the year. All top motor sportsmen are expected to take part in this event. Last year they were to have this event on June 22 and 23 organized by Senkadagala Motor Sports Club in association with Negombo Motor Sports Club.but had to postpone it due to Coronavirus,

So, this time plans are going on to bring back the hill climb motor event in the central hills.They have fixed the date for 01st and 02nd of May in Kotmale. The President of the Senkadagala Motor Sports Club Thusith De Silva, Secretary Poorna Dahanayake, Treasurer Dammika Bambaradeniya, and committee members John Baskaran, P.H.N Solomon, Errol Kemps, Lakshman Issac, Oshada Wijesekara, Sarath Tennakoon, Charminda Weerasinghe, E.M Dissanayake, Akila Senanayake, Darshana Abeysinghe, Gihan Deersekara, Eranga Ranasinghe, Madhushank Alawala,Thilanka Abeysinghe, Anuradha Navaratne are making all arrangements to make this hill climb a success. They have planned for events of Nissan March, Mini 7, Modified Cars, Ford Lasers, SLGT up to 3500cc, Subaru Legacy, Formula cars, Truck, and Jeeps also Motor Bikes from 250cc to 1000cc events.
