Warriors Team, Kalmunai beat Hard Hitters Team, Kalmunai in the final to emerge champions of the Premier League limited over cricket tournament conducted by Sun Fried Sports Club, Kalmunai at the Kalmunai Santhankeny United Public Play grounds recently.
Altogether three teams namely Kalmunai Warriors Team, Hard Hitters and 11 Spartans Team took part in the tournament. Warriors Team beat Hard Hitters Team in the final.
Hard Hitters Team bat first, scored 50 runs loss of five wickets in their allocated seven overs. In reply Warriors Team, scored 53 runs in the seven overs losing four wickets.
Man of the match award went to M.Ashfaq of Kalmunai Warriors Team Winners were awarded trophies at the awards ceremony.
