The Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation has made arrangements to conduct the second stage of the training programme for young coaches of Matara District on January 30 and 31.
The aim of this programme is to find 70 suitable coaches from each district. Already 80 aspiring young coaches have shown their interest to participate in this training camp.
The island-wide programme is sponsored by Ceylon Biscuits Limited (Munchee). The programme will be conducted with the assistance from Matara District Volleyball Association and Sri Lanka Volleyball Coaches Association.
The participants will have to undergo theory and practical tests which are to be delivered by experienced National coaches who are lending yeoman support for the programme.
This programme is to take place at Kotawila Sports Complex in Matara.
