Chathurya Nilaweera continued his outstanding performance as he completed a hat-trick of titles at the National Tennis Championships, which concluded at the SLTA Courts in Green Path yesterday.
His latest triumph came in the Boys’ Under-16 Doubles where he combined with his brother Vichinthya to seal the final with a 6-2, 6-7, 10-7 victory over the pair of Jaithra De Saram and Zaidh Zihar.
Earlier, Chathurya had the credit of winning the Men’s Open Doubles, as well as the Boys’ Under-18 Doubles title respectively.

Boys’ Under-16 Doubles: Chathurya Nilaweera and Vichinthaya Nilaweera beat Jaithra de Saram and Zaidh Zihar 6-2, 6-7, 10-7.
Girls’ Under-16 Doubles: Zaajida Razick and Dinethya Dharmaratne beat Anithra Dharmaratne and Dewmini Warnasuriya 6-3, 6-0.
Girls’ Under-14 Doubles: Inuki Jayaweera and Melesha Randini beat Dinara de Silva and Ruvi Lewkebandara 7-6 (4), 6-7 (8), 14-12.
Boys’ Under-14 Doubles: Sandaru Guruge and Ransath Peiris beat Janava De Saram and Matheesha Nettasinghe 6-2, 6-2.
Girls’ Under-18 Doubles: Oneli Perera and Sethmi Sumanaweera beat Arella de Zoysa and Vonara De Alwis 6-0, 6-0. (AN)
