Miandad Sports Club cricket team, Sainthamaruthu emerged winners of the Cricket match when they beat New Star Sports Club team, Sainthamaruthu by two wickets played at the Sainthamaruthu public play grounds recently.
The 20 -overs cricket match was held with the aim of developing friendship between the Sainthamaruthu MiandadSC and Sainthamaruthu New Star SC players.
Sainthamaruthu New Star SC team batting first scored 135 runs in their allocated 20 overs for all out. Sainthamaruthu Miandad SC team in reply scored 139 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 15.3 overs. Man of the match award was secured by A.H.M. Murshid of the Sainthamaruthu Miandad SC.
Two team players were introduced to the guests at the event. Sainthamaruthu New Star SC President A.M.Mahroof, Sainthamaruthu New Star SC President A.Fais, Deputy President A.L.M.Rizvi, Organizer K.M.Bayan and Manager U.L.Fareed participated as the guests at the award ceremony.
