Major Youth Cup U-23 semis on October 27

The Major Youth Cup Under-23 Tournament will resume from 27 October, and the two semi-final matches are scheduled to be worked off in Colombo.

Originally the semi-final was due to be held on October 7 but cancelled due to the escalation of the Covid-19 pandemic, and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) decided to postpone the matches until further notice on the recommendation of the health authorities.

After frequent consultation with the health authorities, SLC was given the green light to proceed with the matches, which will be played at P. Sara Stadium and NCC grounds respectively, conforming to strict health guidelines.

The grand final is scheduled for October 29 at SSC grounds.

SSC will take on Badureliya CC at P.Sara Stadium, while Colts CC and Lankan CC will clash at NCC. (AN)
