Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) joined hands with Sri Lanka Society of Rugby Football Referees (SLSRFR) launched the much awaited “Elite Referee" (ER) panel last Tuesday at the SLR Office.
The much needed and long-awaited start to formulate the “ER Structure” will give an impetus to the upcoming young referees to barge into this Elite Panel.
This structure will be governed by an independent high ranking experienced and qualified officials.
The SLR believes that with proper engagement, management trust and responsibility by both unions will surge them ahead to achieve their goals at the upcoming 2020/21 rugby season, which is scheduled to kick off later this month. (AN)
