Dineth Ashen Fernando, student of Pothupitiya MV, Kalutara is an outstanding Karateka who is an award winning defence fighter in school.
He won the first place in Under 13 (boys) Kata Event at Okinowa Shoran Khan South Asian Karate Tournament, held at Weligama Beach Resort Matara, recently.
Dineth Ashen was awarded the under 13 (boys) championship in the ˜Kata event, at International Karate Kubudo Championship Tournamen held at the Auditorium of St. Thomas College, Mt. Lavinia, recently.
Ashen is a very disciplined student, who undergoes training under the instructions and guidance of master professional Karate coach Mahesh Livera (Black Belt III)
