St. John’s in strong position at end of day one

St. John’s College Jaffna ended the first day of the 114th Battle of the North annual 3-day cricket encounter in a strong position at the Jaffna Central College grounds yesterday.

After dismissing Jaffna Central for 150 in the first innings St John’s closed the day on 118 for three wickets. The match continues on its second day today.
