Fine knock of 117 by Dimuthu Sameera

A fine knock of 117 runs by Dimuthu Sameera and a good match bag of 10 for 142 by Yoshitha Binaru helped Herman Gminer School, Kesbewa, Piliyandala to beat Bomiriya Central College by 10 wickets in their inter School First Eleven Cricket match played at Bomiriya.

Dimuthu had 12 fours and 6 sixes and occupied the crease for 103 minutes and faced 102 balls while Binaru took 5 for 95 and 5 for 57 to make a match bag of 10 for 142.

Batting first homesters scored 177 runs and in reply visitors made 302 runs with Lasindu Maleesha too scoring with 53 runs. In their second essay Boiriya Central were all out for 146 runs and set to make 22 runs for an out right win visitors scored 23 for no loss.
