Zahira College Maradana won the Papare Football Championship 2019 when they beat St Peter’s College Bambalapitiya by 2 goals to nil in the final played at Race Course Stadium under lights. Following a barren first half, Zahira scored twice through skipper and centre forward Raza Rumy and Mohamed Saajid to clinch the match.
