The Annual Inter-house Sports Meet of St. Clare’s College, Wellawatte was held at S.D.S Jayasinghe grounds Dehiwala recently.
Education Ministry officials, School Principals and other invitees graced the event.
M. D . Dammika Vijithani, Principal of St Clare’s College was instrumental in organizing the event.
The guest of honour was Sriyani Dammika Menike, 800m and 1500m Sri Lankan record holder, and the special guest was Shihana Cader, former Head Prefect, Western Band Leader and President of many clubs and associations of the school.
Marshal House won first place with 212 points, Ludovici House came runner-ups with 202 points, Roger House secured third place with 165 points and De Krester House became fourth with 152 points.
