The Fourth Annual Big Match “Battle of the Silver and Blue” between Dudley Senanayake Vidyalaya, Colombo 5 and Lalith Athulathmudali College Mt. Lavinia will be worked off today at the De Soysa Stadium , Moratuwa.

This Big Match Series was inaugurated in 2016 and in the first year itself Lalith Athulathmudali College won the match and in the following year too they beat their Arch Rivals.

In 2018 the match was abandoned due to rain and last year the encounter had to be cancelled at the eleventh hour due to April Easter Bomb Attack.

This year Dudley Senanayake will be captained by Jayanga Fernando and his Vice Captain is S. A. D. Akalanka and Lalith Athulathmudali College will be led by Thimira Dasun Peiris and his vice captain is Devinda Silva. Dudley Senanayake Vidyalaya and Lalith Athulathmudali College are coached by Manilka Sandeepa and Neville Perera respectively.

The two Principals Ulapane Sumangala Thero and Najith Jayaweera and the officials of both schools are working hand in hand to make this event a success.
