Cambrian under 13 enter second round

Prince of Wales College Moratuwa has qualified for the second round of the ongoing All Island under 13 division one cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and playing for the Singer Trophy.

Cambrians who are unbeaten throughout the first round captained by all rounder Yenula Devthusa and his deputy the opening bat Rivith Jayasuriya. They are coached by Asela Perera and the Master in charge is Udaya Geeganage.

They participated in seven matches and they were unbeaten and won two matches outright and won three on first innings and two were drawn. The highest run getter is the Vice captain Rivith Jayasuriya with 409 runs and the chief wicket taker is the skipper Yenula Devthusa with 30 scalps. The Principal Kusala J. Fernando is extending his fullest support and guidance while the parents and old boys were supportive through out the tournament.
