A 250-member contingent in the age group 35 to 85 from Sri Lanka will be taking part in the 21st Asian Masters Athletic Championship to be held in Kuching, Malaysia from December 2 to 7, according to its president Sunimal Ranasinghe. The squad led by P Mendis will be accompanied by H.A. Upali, Priyantha Herath, D.S.K. Gamage, H.W. Nimalasiri, Manjula Peiris and Dr. Gayathri Thobage (physician) as officials. It is being organized by the Government of Sarawak and Malaysian Masters Athletic Association on behalf of the Asian Masters Athletics Council.
