Batting first visitors were all out for 52 runs and in reply homesters made 124 runs with Harith Jayapathma claiming 5 for 20 and in their second essay visitors collapsed for 30 runs with Randuya Pathirana and Nesandu Mondir capturing 4 for 0 and 4 for 13 respectively.

In reply Royalists declared at 170 for 9 with Isula Geeganage scoring 76 and Kemitha Hesitha claimed 5 for 60 and at stumps homesters were 65 for 7 with Sasindu Mapa taking 5 for 33 runs making a match bag of 9 for 40.
