Anarge wins in U-17 second round

Anarge Perera got the better of S. D. Siriwardena 11/4, 11/8, 11/5 to win the girls’ under 17 second round match of the 30th Ritzbury Junior National Squash Championship played at the Air Force Squash Courts Complex yesterday. In the under 13 boys second round matches Vihandu Nanayakkara beat R. Siriwardena 11/1, 11/4, 8/11, 11/3 and Hiruna Koralage beat Dinuk Ranatunga 11/3, 11/2, 11/5.

Four hundred junior squash players are taking part in the five-day event which will end on October 16 with the finals.

The tournament is organized by Sri Lanka Squash to coincide with World Squash Day which fell on Saturday.
