Last year’s first eleven cricket captain and fifth year coloursman of Devananda Vidyalaya Ambalangoda Sohan de Livera ended his school cricket career in grand style, captaining his school and becoming the third player from his school to pass the 1000 run mark and the only player to notch up a century in the limited over matches. Altogether he played in five Big Matches and three limited over matches.

He has played for the first eleven team from 2015 and in his first year he scored 257 runs followed by 525 runs with a century in 2016 and in 2017 he made 637 runs. In 2018 he amassed, 827 runs with two centuries and in his last year (2019) he piled up 1209 runs which is a school record. He represented the Southern Province in 2017 and they were the provincial champions and following year too he represented Southern Province. He was awarded the division two best fielder’s prize and in 2018 he won the all island division two best wicket keeper’s award.

He carried away the Dialog 2018/19 best batsman award division two and Mobitel best fielder runner-up division two. He also captained his school’s under 13, 15 17 and 19 teams.

In club level he started with Singha Sports Club and also represented Rio Sports Club in the under 23 division two tournament and is presently playing for the Sinhgalese Sports Club in division three cricket tournament and his coach is Thilina Kandambay.
