The Rugby Advisory and Management Committee of the Royal College Union has organized a fun rally to raise funds for the 2020 rugby season. This is the third consecutive year that the event will take place.
The rally, restricted to 50 vehicles, will be flagged off at the Boake gates at 8.00am on Sunday the 24th of November 2019.
Each vehicle is required to have a driver and a navigator in order to participate in the event. Instructions on how the race is to be run and scored will be provided prior to the race being flagged off. The route will be around 70km long and take participants across Colombo and some of its suburbs. Participants will be awarded points based on activities completed at certain pit stops and their timing for each segment.
The race will conclude at the Orient Club where competitors and well wishers will gather for lunch and refreshments.
The Automobile Association (https://www.aaceylon.lk/) has again stepped forward as the main sponsor for the event.
