A hostile bowling spell of 5 for 20 runs by Deneth Sankalana guided Moratu Vidyalaya to book a berth in the Fourth Round of the on going under 15 Division Three Inter School Cricket Tournament when they beat formidable S. Thomas College, Mt. Lavinia by 92 runs on first innings in their match played at Moratuwa. this tournament is conducted on knock out basis. Batting first Vidyalians scored 156 runs with Dulan Silva scoring 51 runs and Kavith Karunathilake had a very fine bowling spell of 6 for 39 runs. In reply Thomains were all out for a paltry 64 runs and Sheron Ford bagged 3 for 6 runs.
