More than 60 companies are expected to take part at the Mercantile Badminton Team Championships which will commence today and will be continued till 27th October at the Mercantile Badminton Trust Head Quarters & G T Jayasuriya Stadium Courts, Malalasekera Mawatha Colombo 07. Al together 262 teams from 62 companies have already registered to compete in this tournament which is sponsored by Linning (Flex Sports Wear ) and Revival Physical Medical Center.
This tournament is the most prestigious tournament of the Mercantile Badminton calendar with mass participation
The tournament would be declared open by lighting of the traditional oil lamp by the President of the Mercantile Badminton Association Roshan Fernando followed by the winner and runners-up of the previous year.
