Lake House slicers clinch two carrom titles

The Lake House men’s Carrom team won both ‘A’ Division and ‘B’ Division Carrom titles by beating Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation in the finals.

It was part of the Sports contests conducted on a concept of Lake House Chairman Krishantha Cooray to foster friendship and goodwill between the employees of Lake House, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation, DFCC Bank and Hilton Hotel.

The Lake House ‘A’ team which won the ‘A’ Division Championship comprised I. D. B. Nayanasiri, A. Jayaratne, K. Niranjan, G. B. Jagath and G. C. Pathiratne while the team which bagged the ‘B’ Division Championship consisted of Tissa Dammika, N. P. Batepola, Madura Prabath, Sampath Manamperi, Gandika Dharmabandu and G. G. R. Fernando.

Lake House Chairman Krishantha Cooray and senior vice president of Lake House Sports Club Subash Karunaratne were among those who witnessed the finals.
