Sparkling century by Adithya

A hurricane 104 runs by the skipper of Royal Institute Adithya Hettiarachchi enabled them to beat Herman Gminner School Kesbewa on first innings by 82 runs in their inter school under 15 division three tournament cricket match played at Piliyandala.

Adithya hit twelve fours and twelve sixes and occupied the crease for 62 minutes and faced 54 balls. Batting first homesters were shot out for a paltry 72 runs with Dulan Damian claiming 4 for 10 runs and in reply at stumps visitors were 154 for 7 and Lasindu Maleesha bagged 5 for 67 runs.

Herman Gminner School – 72 in 27 overs – (C. T. K. Kulatunge 26 n/o, Methmula Hasith 2/6, Dulan Damian 4/10, Hiruka Maunasinghe 2/14).

Royal Institute – 154/7 in 25.2 overs – (Adithya Hettiarachchi 104, Laisndu Maleesha 5/67).
