Panagoda Cricket Club beat Professional Recreation Club by seven wickets in their inter-club Colombo District Division Three Cricket match worked off at Kalutara.
Batting first Professional Recreation Club scored 153 runs with Nipuna Wickramasinghe claiming 4 for 28 runs and in reply Panagoda Cricket Club scored 154 for 3 with Bede Sankalpa and Rumesh Madushanka scoring 54 and an unbeaten 64 runs respectively.
Professional Recreation Club: 153 in 26.4 overs (Gimhan Dissanayake 31, Thanuj Perera 25, Subbiddhi Kaushalya 44, Kavinda Madushanka 3 for 30, Bede Sankalpa 3 for 32, Nipuna Wickramasinghe 4 for 28).
Panagoda CC: 154 for 3 in 16.5 overs (Bede Sankalpa 54, Rumesh Madushanka 64 not out, Venushka Anuranga 2 for 35).

In another game in the same division and Kalutara District Tournament Baduraliya Sports Club drew with Matugama A.M. Cricket Club played at Panadura. Taking the first lease of the wicket when the game came to a halt due to rain Baduraliya Sports Club were in a bad way at 69 for 7.
