Young Mates FC wins B.W. Harrison Silva trophy

Young Mates Football Club, Hatton beat Drayton Football Club, Kotagala 2-1 in the final and emerged champions of the B.W. Harrison Silva Trophy Division 1 soccer tournament organized by the Hatton Football League and played at Dunbar grounds, Hatton recently.

Goal scorers for the winning Young Mates team are P. Dharshana (32min) and K.ThilebanRaj (78min) while the solitary goal for Drayton FC was booted by K.Niroshan (41 min). K. Thileban Raj of Young Mates FC was adjudged the Best Player of the final and the winning team's goalkeeper, S. Vijayakumar was picked as the Best Goal Keeper.
