Sri Lanka thrash Malaysia at rugby

Sri Lanka rugby team who are in Malaysia on a tour won their first game yesterday against Malaysian Barbarians by 55 points (5 goals, 4 tries) to 14 (2 goals) at the UPM grounds in Malaysia.

Sri Lanka led 41-7 at half time.

The Lankan tries came from Sudarka Dikkumbura (three), and one each from Sajith Saranga, Omalka Gunaratne, Mithun Hapugoda, Reeza Rafaideen, Anuradha Herath and Gihan Perera. Sandesh Dikkumbura made three conversions and Samuel Maduwantha two.
