The captain of the under 13 Division three cricket team of Lalith Athulathmudali college Mt. Lavinia right arm leg spinner and right hand bat K.W. Mulitha de Costa excelled as an all-rounder and his performances through out the tournament enabled his alma-mater to reach the fourth round before losing to Dharmapala Vidyalaya Kottawa. Methodist High school of Puwkaramba Moratuwa clinched the trophy by winning the tournament
Altogether Lalith Athulathmudali College played nine matches and Mulitha claimed 41 wickets with two five wicket hauls and the best being 6 for 17 vesus Rajasinghe Maha Vidyalaya Hanwella with an average of 7.3 He scored 176 runs with two fifties with the top score of an unbeaten 64 runs against C.W.W. Kannangara Vidyalaya Colombo. They are coached by Ayesh de Silva while his deputy is Dinesh Fernando. The help and guidance received from the Principal Naditha Jayaweera, Master in Charge of Cricket K.D. Nishantha and Prefect of Games Nirosha Perera are Praiseworthy.
