Twenty-eight wickets fell on day one in the Major League Tier B inter-club cricket match between Navy SC and Galle CC at the Navy ground Welisara yesterday.
Rajeewa Weerasinghe of Galle CC took 11 of those wickets for 58 runs.
In another match Lankan CC scored 354 for 6 wickets in 90 overs against Bloomfield C & AC at close with Pawan Kankanamge scoring an unbeaten hundred.
Matches will be continued today on day two.
