Udayasooriyan Sports Club Football Team, Thirukkovil beat Supersonic Sports Club Football Team, Addalaichenai 1:0 in the final and emerged champions of the football match which was held at the Addalaichenai Government Teachers’ College Play grounds recently.
Addalaichenai Supersonic Sports Club President A.L.A.Fathah organized the match to mark Sri Lanka’s 71st National Independence Day. High Court Judge N.M.Abdullah was the chief guest on the occasion.
Addalaichenai Sports Officer M.H.M.Ashwath, Retired In-service Advisor N.Samsudeen, the Nintavur, Government Ayurvedic Research (NCD) Hospital Director Dr.K.L.M.Nagfer, former Addalaichenai Pradeshiya Sabha Member I.L.Munaff, Club Secretary and Addalaichenai National College of Education Lecturer A.R.M.Sathique, Supersonic Sports Club high ranking officials participated as the guests. Prizes for winners were distributed by the guests.
Addalaichenai Supersonic SC Athletic Leader M.L.M.Sajinas was the referee in this match.
