Thurstan in command

Thurstan College Colombo were in command on the first day of their Singer trophy under 19 division one inter schools 2-day knockout cricket match against St. Servatius College Matara at Thurstan Road yesterday. Thurstan were bowled out for 283 runs in 79.4 overs with Ayesh Harshana scoring 71 and Ranesh Silva 51.

St. Servatius in reply had lost three wickets for 18 by the close with Bhawantha Jayasinghe capturing 2 wickets for 5 runs. The match will be continued today.
