12th ‘Battle of the Golds’: Bold reply by Mahanama

Mahanama College Colombo made a bold reply of 83 runs for 3 wickets against D.S. Senanayake College Colombo in day one in the 12th ‘Battle of the Golds’ at

P. Sara Oval stadium yesterday.

D.S.Senanayake won the toss and elected to bat. D.S. Senanayake were bowled out 156 runs in 59 overs. Shenal Chandrasekara scored 56 runs and Vihan Gunasekara scored 45 runs. Heshan Hettiarachchi took 4 wickets for 49 runs and Shonal Dinusha and Hashan Sandeepa took each 2 wickets. Match will be continued today (17) on day two.
