NSB carrom players Yohan Sampath and Asela Soysa bagged double title at the recently concluded Nationalized Services Novices Tournament.
Yohan won the singles championship beating his Bank of Ceylon opponent and partnered with Asela bagged the doubles championship against State Engineering Corporation’s pair. This is the first time in the history of National Savings Bank that a carrom team has won both singles and doubles championships in the Nationalized Services Carrom Association (NSCA) tournament.
The event was held at the NSCA headquarters in Ganemulla recently.
