Accounts Branch cricket champs

The annual Sports Day of the Kandy District Secretariat was held at the Open Prison Camp grounds, Pallekelle recently.

The event was organized by Daya Withanage, District Sports Officer attached to the Ministry of Sports, Central Province under the patronage of Tissa Karunaratne, the District Secretary/ Government Agent, Kandy.

The main event was the Six-a-side softball cricket tournament for which 12 teams participated and the Accounts Branch of the Kandy Secretariat became Champions beating the Supplies Dept.team in the finals.
