Palannoruwa MV under 13 team enter second round

Palannoruwa Maha Vidyalaya commenced cricket about eight months ago and they fielded an under 13 team in the division three group A-D and now they have booked a berth in the second round after participating in four matches in the first round.

Commencing of cricket at Palannoruwa Maha Vidyalaya is the brain child of the present principal Susantha Jayanal Perera and he received the support and the help of the old Boys and girls and from the parents.

According to the Principal their ground is upto the standard and urgently require a matting and a side wicket and they will be sending a team for the under 15 tournament next year. The coach Janith Yasitha and Master in Charged of Cricket Chaminda Wijesekera are extending their fullest cooperation.
