‘SIBA Gangsters’ and Black Thunders emerged men’s and women’s champions respectively in the annual six-a-side cricket tournament of SIBA Campus, Pallekele which was worked off at the Kengalla Maha Vidyalaya grounds recently. Six women’s teams and seven men’s teams took part. The men’s champion ‘SIBA Gangsters’ team was led by former Sylvestrian and Kandy district player Ruwantha Ekanayake while the women's winners, Black Thunders were captained by Sandareka. Dr. Upali Sedere, the Rector and CEO of SIBA Campus was the chief guest and presented the main awards.
