Seventeen year old up and coming athlete the school under 14, 16 and 18 athletic Champion, All Island Schools and John Tarbet Coloursman Pahalagedara Vishva Vidusara Perera has brought honour and immense glory to National School Dambulla with his deeds on the athletic field

He was born on 7th February 2004 and was admitted to National School Dambulla in 2016 to grade six and noticing his talents in athletics his parents Anurasiri Perera and Tharanga Kumari Nandasiri handed over their son to the School Athletic Coach Pradeep Jayashantha and Master in Charge of Athletics and Senior Coach Madushanka Rathnayake and in his first year itself at the School Inter House Sports Meet he participated in the Long Jump event and came first and participating at the Educational Divisional Meet he came first in the under 14 Long Jump event.

In the following year participating for the School Inter House Sports Meet he swept the board in Long Jump 80 metre hurdles and 100 metres and became the school under 14 Champion and representing the Educational Zonal Meet he won the 80 metres hurdles event and in 2017 at the John Tarbet Meet 80 metres under 15 hurdles event he clocked 14.5 seconds and received Colours and in the 2017 John Tarbet Senior 80 meters hurdles event he clocked 13.3 seconds and received Colours for the second time.

Then in 2018 at the School Sports Meet he was adjudged as the under 16 Champion by sweeping the board in 80 metres hurdles 100 metres and Long Jump and at the Galewela Zonal Educational Meet he won the under 16 Long Jump and hurdles convincingly but he could not come up to expectations at the Educational Provincial Meet which was worked off at Matale.

He was the under 18 school athletic Champion in 2019 and he won the Long Jump, 100 metres and 100 metres hurdles and at the Galewela Zonal Educational Meet he won the 100 metre hurdles Long Jump and 100 metre events and became the Zonal Champion and he became third in hurdles at the Provincial Meet held at Matale and at the All Island Meet he came up to Semi Finals in 100 metre hurdles and at the John Tarbet Meet he won Colours for his timing of 14.3 seconds at the 100 metre hurdles.
