Former Sri Lanka all-rounder Thisara Perera produced a fine bowling performance while making his debut for the Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League 2021 Franchise T20 Cricket Tournament in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

The 32-year-old, who retired from international cricket recently, impressed with the ball where he picked up two wickets for just 12 runs in three overs.

Earlier, Karachi Kings won the toss and opted to bowl first and they managed to restrict Multan Sultans to 176 for five in the allotted 20 overs.

However, Karachi Kings couldn’t chase down the target as they were restricted to 164 runs in the allotted 20 overs.

Perera had previously represented franchise teams Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans in the PSL and is also set to play in the Caribbean Premier League.
