Sri Lanka Football Team to be rewarded

Football Sri Lanka (FSL) has decided to present a reward of Rs. 50,000 each to the Sri Lanka Football Squad, which participated at the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in South Korea recently.

Sri Lanka put up a fine performance even though they lost both matches against Lebanon (3-2) and South Korea (5-0) respectively.

FSL decided to reward the players and the rest of the Sri Lankan contingent with the approval of the Executive Committee. (AN)
