Uncapped Dhananjaya Lakshan and Ishan Jayaratne, who are in the Sri Lanka Provisional Squad for the forthcoming England white-ball cricket series, have tested positive for COVID-19.
Sri Lanka are scheduled to play three One Day Internationals and the same number of Twenty20 Internationals during their tour of England from June 23 to July 4.
Meanwhile, opening batsman Avishka Fernando has been dropped from the Sri Lankan Squad for the tour of Bangladesh as he has been unable to face the fitness test since recovering from an injury.
The 23-year old who was included in the 18-member squad for the ODI series will not travel to Bangladesh due to his failure to face a fitness test ahead of the series.
Earlier, Fernando missed both ODI and T20I series against the West Indies three months ago as he could not attend the mandatory 2km fitness test due to an injury.
