Unbeaten Royal favourites against Nalanda

Royal College will take on Nalanda College in their Under-19 Division One Tier ‘A’ Limited Over Cricket Tournament quarter-final game at S. Thomas’ College Grounds in Mount Lavinia today.

Unbeaten Royal have a strong batting line-up with Skipper Ahan Wickramasinghe leading from the front while Isiwara Dissanayake, Sadisha Rajapaksa and 17-year-old Dasis Manchanyake are also among the runs this season.

Paceman Kavindu Pathirathna is a fine all-rounder while Sonal Amarasekara and leg-spinner Gishan Balasooriya are the leading bowlers for Royal.

Meanwhile, Nalanda will heavily depend on their Skipper Raveen de Silva who could be the match winner for the team. Raveen is in fine form with his all round capabilities and scored a superb 170 and took four wickets for four runs in their match against S. Thomas’ College.
