SLB conducts badminton coaches’ workshop

The two day badminton coaches’ workshop conducted by Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) Coaches and Promotions Committee successfully concluded at the Nuwara Eliya Municipal Indoor Stadium yesterday.

The Central Province Badminton Association (CPBA) headed by President Mahindra Kumara organised this coaches’ workshop which consists of more than 40 coaches from Nuwara Eliya, Kandy and Matale Districts.

Badminton Coaches Committee (BCC) President Deepal Madurapperuma, Louve Karunaratne and Chinthaka Fernando conducted the two-day course for the Central Province coaches including theory and practical lessons.

After this coaches’ workshop, SLB together with the CPBA and Nuwara Eliya District Badminton Association will conduct the All-Island Summer Season Badminton Championship, which commenced yesterday.
