Opener Kavindu Pathiratna scored an unbeaten 87 as Royal College scored 359 for six wickets in their first innings on the opening day of their two-day Under-19 cricket fixture against Ananda College played at Ananada Mawatha yesterday.
The left-hander batting at number six struck nine fours and a six in his 150-ball innings and was well supported by the wicket-keeper batsman Nethin Panapitiya who made 50 in 51 balls inclusive of four fours and two sixes.
