Kamil Mishara hit a superb 113 as NCC defeated Ragama CC by 145 runs in the Major Club Limited Over Cricket Tournament final played at the SSC Grounds in Maitland Place yesterday.

NCC made a formidable 286 for seven in 50 overs and Ragama CC were all out for 141 in 30.3 overs.
Mishara, the 19-year-old left-hander, completed his third century of the tournament from 132 balls with the help of nine boundaries to earn the Man-of-the-Final Award.
After the openers Nimesh de Silva (1) and Upul Tharanga (10) were dismissed early, Mishara and Kavin Bandara (65) added 137 for the third wicket.
Thereafter, NCC Skipper Angelo Perera also struck 61 in 43 balls with four fours and a six and added 98 for the fourth wicket with Mishara.
Ragama CC collapsed to 94 for six after 21.4 overs and eventually they were all out for 141 in 30.3 overs.
Janith Liyanage figured in a vain effort and hit a fighting 42 in 71 balls with two fours before he was dismissed last man.
Paceman Chamika Karunaratna was the most successful bowler as he finished with four for 37 from his six overs while Lahiru Kumara claimed three for 30.
Earlier Ragama CC Skipper Ishan Jayaratne and Binura Fernando took three wickets apiece. Fernando ended the tournament with a tally of 23 wickets.
