Sri Lanka Legends qualified for the semi-finals of the Road Safety World Cricket Series (WCS) when they defeated South Africa Legends by nine wickets in their second match of the tournament played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on Monday.
Sri Lanka Legends, who had earlier defeated the West Indies Legends, produced another fine performance to skittle out South Africa Legends for just 89 in 18.5 overs.
In reply, Sri Lanka Legends raced to their target in 13.2 overs with Skipper Tillakaratne Dilshan stroking an unbeaten half century.
Rangana Herath was named Man-of-the-Match after he finished with two for 11 from his four overs.
Sri Lanka Legends will meet England Legends in their third match today (10).
