Airwoman Dilrukshi wins Gold in Kataragama

Sri Lanka Air Force SC’s Dinusha Dilrukshi representing North Western Province (NWP) won the National Sports Festival (NSF) Women’s cycling event worked off in Kataragama on Monday.

Sudarika Priyadarshani also from NWP and Anne Sonalika of Western Province (WP) were placed second and third respectively.

Twenty seven riders faced the starting orders and covered the distance of 78km in two laps riding from Kataragama to Lunugamwehera and back.

Dinusha clocked 2:26.20s while Sudarika also returned the identical time while Sonalika returned a time of 2:27.03s.

1, Dinusha Dilrukshi (NWP). 2, Sudarika Priyadarshani (NWP). 3, Anne Sonalika (WP).
